Step1 Set the Multiple Sign Off option in System Config > Medications
When adding a medication you can enable a Multiple Sign Off option so that the medication may require a second person sign off when being administered.
The options are to enable the option for
Require the student to sign off on receiving the medication
Require an additional staff member to sign off on the administering of the medication
require either a student or additional staff member to sign off on the administering of the medication.

Step 2 Set the additional sign off requirement when assigning the medication to a student.
When assigning a medication to a student that has been enabled in the medication profile to require Multiple Sign Off you need to set the requirement for additional person sign off when setting the dosage and schedule in the student’s profile.

Once set to require a second person to acknowledge administering of a medication then the administering modal will be adjusted to include the opportunity for a second staff person to enter the identity using their personal PIN.

Personal PINs can be set in the contact’s profile in the Security Tab. Once set, the person has the ability to edit their own pin in the My Account section of their Reach login. |
